views, contents, and opinions expressed herein The Promise of Human Embryonic Stem Cell Research Dr. Benjamin Reubinoff Dr. Benjamin Reubinoff is the Director of Hadassah Human Embryonic Stem Cell Research Center in Israel. His talk is entitled: The Promise of Human Embryonic Stem Cell Research. His talk deals with the research that his team at Hadassah University Hospital in Jerusalem has conducted with stem cells. They've used stem cells to treat rats with symptoms of Parkinson's Disease. Results from these tests have led Dr. Reubinoff to state that the stage has been set "...for future development that may eventually allow the use of embryonic stem cells for the treatment of Parkinon's disease in humans."
